English Abstract:
  【Abstract】 Objective:To investigate the effects of Sanqi sodium hyaluronate gel on the expression of cyclooxygenase-2(Cox-2),transforming growth factor beta-1(TGF-β1) and connective-tissue growth factor(CTGF) in rabbits′epidural scar tissue.Method:72 white rabbits were randomly divided into four groups.After L6 laminectomy,the local dural sacs were soaked by 0.5ml saline(group A),0.5ml Sanqi concentration(group B),0.5ml sodium hyaluronate(group C) and 0.5ml Sanqi sodium hyaluronate gel(group D) respectively.At the 1st,2nd,and 4th week after operation,the expression of Cox-2 mRNA and CTGF mRNA was detected by hybridization in situ and the expression of TGF-β1 antibody was tested by immunohistochemistry in scar tissues.Result:The expression of Cox-2 mRNA in group D was lower than all other groups at the 1st and 2nd week(P<0.05),and no difference among the other groups at the 2nd week and all groups at the 4th week was noted(P>0.05).All the four groups had significant lower expression at the 2nd and 4th week than the 1st week and 4th week in group D(P>0.05).The expression of CTGF mRNA in group B,C and D was remarkably lower than group A(P<0.05) at the 1st week and group D was lower than group B and C as well(P<0.05).At the 2nd week group D had lower expression than all other groups(P<0.05),but no difference among the other groups was noted(P>0.05).Group A and C at the 2nd and 4th week as well as group B at the 4th week had lower expression than 1st week significantly(P<0.05).No difference among all other groups at all other time points was noted(P>0.05).The expression of TGF-β1 antibody in group B,C,D was lower than that in group A remarkably(P<0.05) at the 1st and that in group D was lower than all other groups at the 2nd week(P<0.05).There was no difference among all groups at the forth week(P>0.05).There was no difference of each group at the 1st and 2nd week(P>0.05).But each group had lower expression at the 4th week than the 1st and 2nd week(P<0.05).There was no difference among each group′ expression at the 4th week(P>0.05).Conclusion:Sanqi sodium hyaluronate gel can inhibit the expression of Cox-2,TGF-β1,CTGF in rabbits′epidural scar tissue,which is superior to Sanqi concentration or sodium hyaluronate used alone.
