【Abstract】 Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of bone morphogenetic proteins-2/7(BMP-2/7) versus traditional bony graft(including autograft, allograft and artificial material graft) on lumbar fusion.Method:Randomized and quasi-randomized controlled trials related to application of BMP-2/7 on spine fusion versus traditional bony grafts were searched on Pubmed,EBSCO,Springer and CBM(Chinese Biological and Medical database) database. The data of the each article were evaluated.RevMan 5.0.18 provided by Cochrane was used to analysis the data.Result:Thirteen randomized or quasi-randomized controlled trials were included. The combined results showed that compared with the traditional standard treatment,BMP-2/7 used in lumbar fusion was proved:the higher fusion rate in the cases useing BMP-2 in anterior or posterior lumbar interbody fusion and posterolateral lumbar fusion than traditional bony graft, however application of BMP-7 could not lead to higher fusion rate in posterolateral fusion.Better outcome could not be associated with BMP-2/7.Conclusion:Compared with traditional standard treatment,BMP-2/7 can ensure higher fusion rate, while this is unrelated to better outcome. |
