全脊椎截骨术使脊髓缩短对脊髓功能影响的临床观察

  对32例各种类型的脊柱后凸和后侧凸患者行全脊椎截骨加器械矫正术，截骨后使脊髓缩短2～5cm，平均2．8cm。临床结果表明，脊髓缩短在4cm以内者脊髓功能正常，双下肢无神经症状出现，而超过4cm者，由于脊髓迂曲变宽太多，骨性椎管容纳不了就会挤压脊髓产生双下肢神经症状。2例脊髓牵长1cm者双下肢立即出现神经症状。说明脊髓对缩短有很大程度的耐受力，而对牵长则极不耐受。
