  对２０例颈椎损伤伴颈髓损伤患者进行研究，其中 １０例为未使用Ｈａｌｏ背心制动的后期颈髓损伤病人，１０例为使用Ｈａｌｏ背心制动的患者。两组皆行血气分析，并对使用Ｈａｌｏ背心制动的患者在松开背心与束紧背心状态下行肺功检能查，将所测得的参数与后期四肢瘫病人的肺功能进行比较，结果证明，Ｈａｌｏ背心制动对病人的呼吸功能没有不良影响。
